Freelance Laravel developer, remote, in your time zone

Senior Laravel and Vue/Inertia development for product teams and agencies: new features, legacy upgrades, performance and payments. Based in Algeria (UTC+1), working European hours, in English or French.

What I work on

  • Features end to end — migrations, models, jobs, controllers and the Vue/Inertia UI, with tests.
  • Queues and background work — Horizon, retries, idempotent jobs, rate-limited third-party APIs.
  • Payments and ledgers — webhooks, reconciliation and double-entry records that don't drift.
  • Multi-tenancy and i18n — tenant isolation, and Arabic/French/English interfaces including right-to-left layouts.
  • Legacy upgrades and performance — slow queries, N+1s, cache strategy, and upgrading old Laravel versions safely.

In production

  • Odigix — Laravel API behind a gift card marketplace with 30,000+ registered users: queued order pipeline, idempotent supplier purchases, rate limiting and circuit breakers, WhatsApp notifications via the Evolution API. Now with a custom Laravel + Inertia + React admin (replacing Nova) and an MCP server built with Laravel MCP.
  • Rooqn — Laravel + Inertia B2B panel with a double-entry ledger and a transactional outbox.
  • AutoFacture DZ — Laravel + Inertia invoicing SaaS with gap-free numbering and PDF generation with Arabic text.

How I work

Coding agents write a lot of my code; I decide what gets built and review every change before it ships. You get small pull requests, written context in each one, and plain-language updates on what's done, what's next and what's risky.

Questions clients ask

How do we work together?
Directly under contract, or through Upwork or Collective if you prefer a platform. I join your repo, your issue tracker and your chat, and work in your process rather than asking you to adopt mine.
What does UTC+1 mean in practice?
Algeria is UTC+1 all year: the same time as Paris, Berlin or Madrid in winter, one hour behind them in summer, and five to six hours ahead of New York. A European working day overlaps fully.
Can you work on an old Laravel codebase?
Yes. Upgrading and untangling existing apps is a big part of the job — adding tests around what matters first, then changing it in small, reversible steps.
